CPE Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Content CPA, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using our website and services (the "Services"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By paying for, downloading, and otherwise using our content or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Services Provided

We provide continuing professional education tailored for public accountants. All materials including presentations, webinar recordings, related blog postings, and other related materials are produced for educational purposes only.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering for an event.

  • Use the information provided by us in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Not reuse the information for any unlawful purpose or without the explicit permission, given in writing, for each requested use.

4. Intellectual Property

The Content provided by us remains our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell the Content, in total or in part, without our prior written consent.

5. Payment Terms

  • All fees for the Services are due at the time of order placement unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Payments are processed through wix.com, and you agree to adhere to their terms and conditions.
     

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • All sales are final and refunds will not be issued once an individual has registered.

  • If an individual cannot attend the session, you may request a credit for a future session. This request must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session. No refunds will be issued within 48 hours of a session.

  • In the event of a cancellation, notification will sent via email to the email address on file. We will do our best to reschedule the event within two business weeks. If rescheduling is not possible, we will provide a refund to all participants.
     

7. Record Retention Policy

The following items will be kept on file for a period of at least 5 years. 

  • Records of participation

  • Dates and locations of program offerings

  • Author/instructor, author/developer and reviewer names and credentials

  • Number of CPE credits earned by participants

  • Results of program evaluations

  • Program descriptive materials

  • All versions of all course materials (presentations, recordings, handouts, etc.)
     

8. Course Updates

All courses documentation and materials will note the most recent publication, revision or review date. Courses will be revised as soon as feasible following changes to relative codes, laws, rulings, decisions, interpretations, etc. Courses in subjects that undergo frequent changes will be reviewed by a subject matter expert at least once a year. All other courses will be reviewed every two years. We will maintain all versions of course materials, as well as the reviewer names and credentials in accordance with our record retention policy.

9. Complaint Resolution

Please notify the Company promptly if you are aware of any violations of law or Company policy, or have any concerns you feel need to be shared. Prompt reporting will serve to enhance the Company’s ability to investigate effectively and to preserve important evidence for future proceedings, including, for example, legal and disciplinary proceedings. 10. Nature and Time of Content

The information presented or made available on or through this website should not be construed as personalized financial planning, accounting, or investment advice; rather as general principles, guidance, or summary of publicly available information. Information provided may be time-sensitive based on changing trends, laws, or facts. All content should be viewed based on the date when it was created.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permissible by law, Content CPA, LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services or the inability to use the Services.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Content CPA, LLC and its affiliates from and against any claims, actions, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Illinois and the United States of America without regard to its conflict of law principles.
